
Rev. Dr. Morris Lee Randall Sr.
Morris is the first of four children born to the late Deacon Eddie and Irene Randall of Williamsburg Virginia. He was educated in the New Kent County Public School system and received a High School Diploma from Lafayette High School in Williamsburg Virginia in 1974. He continued his education at Thomas Nelson Community College in Hampton Virginia and also graduated from the Leadership Development Program of James City County in 1988.
He is the Son of Mount Nebo Baptist Church in Barhamsville, Virginia, where he was licensed to Preach on July 11.1982 and Ordained on January 2, 1984. He attended Evans-Smith Leadership Institute in 1995 and obtained a certificate in religious studies. He also received a certificate in religious studies from Kingdom University under leadership of Dr. N. Cindy Trimm in 2006. In 2009 he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology. And in 2020 he earned Doctoral degree from North Carolina Theology Seminary.
He serves as chaplain of Whiting Funeral Home in Williamsburg Virginia. He serves on the advisory board of “When the Trumpet Sounds” (an organization that promotes research and awareness of epileptic children).
He is the Pastor of Ephesus Baptist church in West Point Virginia, where he has served for 33 years. He is a Past President and current member of the Pamunkey Baptist Minsters Conference of King William Virginia. He also currently serves as 1st Vice Moderator of the Pamunkey Baptist Association.
Morris is retired from both the Eastern State Hospital and the Williamsburg James City County Action Agency as a Transportation Coordinator and Fatherhood Specialist.
He is married to Rev. Dr. Helen Washington formerly of Dunnsville, Virginia. They have a blended family of three sons: Morris Jr., Maurice Terrell and Martel Jovan. Four beautiful granddaughters: Diazhauna Moe’na, Kyndall Maire, Alexis Nichole, and Brooklyn Meleah: two great-grands: Alanna and his first grand-son: McKinley.
Morris has a great love for people. He has never met a stranger. He is known far and near for his jolly sprit and his love of laughter. He has many adopted mothers and fathers; sons and daughters; nieces and nephews and a host of loyal friends. His Motto in life is “TO FOLLOW JESUS, REGARDLESS OF THE COST.
